We got off to a good start from the get go. That first year Wallace Stuart Independent Lady Somerset Funeral Directors provided funeral services and cremations all over Somerset. From Yeovil to Burnham on Sea and Weston-super-Mare to Taunton and Wellington to Frome and Glastonbury. We covered funerals in Gloucester and outside these areas, as we always tried to help out where possible.
Somerset Funeral Directors – Awarded Most Promising
In 2013, one of our families told us they had nominated us for one of the awards under the category “Most Promising New Funeral Director”.
To say we were honoured is an understatement and as the awards are based solely on nominations from our families, we set about asking our other families if they would possibly support the nomination and an outpouring of lovely, heartfelt words from EVERY family we had helped and supported in 2013 was sent in to The Good Funeral Guide to support our nomination.
We were incredibly proud, when out of literally hundreds of other incredible funeral directors, we came 2nd place!
Most Promising New Funeral Director 2014
In 2014, we were again nominated for the award by our families and incredibly walked away with the statue and title of “Most Promising New Funeral Director 2014”. Our growing business that we have so much faith and passion for, won an award!
And it didn’t end there…
Funeral Director Of The Year 2016
In 2015 we scooped finalist for “Funeral Director Of The Year” 2016 we were seconded “Low Cost Traditional Funeral Director Of The Year” AND “Modern Funeral Director Of The Year”.
